This IS Two Rivers

In about 10 minutes on December 1, The Two Rivers Business Association, and its members pledged $21,000 toward a new bike trail project to the Two Rivers High School. Within an hour, the Kewaunee Nuclear Plant's Dominion Foundation announced a $10,000 pledge. In the next several hours, members of the public called in $6,400 in donations. Those donations exceeded a challenge grant from the West Foundation, meaning another $100,000 for the joint city-school district project - more than enough to provide the local match for a $1.2 million federal/state transportation grant.

The TRBA, our local business owners and managers, is the same group that spear-headed a fund drive for the Community House renovation in 2006 that raised more than $275,000 in less than a month.

And THAT is what it's like living in Two Rivers.

Target's Vintage Varsity clothing line feature graphics created at our Hamilton Wood Type Museum, harking back to Two Rivers in 1880 when J.E. Hamilton started Hamilton Manufacturing Company.
