Mariner's and Rawley Point bike and walking trails |
Two Rivers stands at the junction of two
of the state's most scenic bicycle trails. On the 5-mile
Mariner's Trail, you can ride south to Manitowoc in the
lake's cooling breezes, just a few yards from the water.
The Rawley Point Trail winds six miles through the pine
and hemlock forest, all the way to the historic Rawley
Point Lighthouse at Point Beach State Park north of Two
Rivers. |

In 1837, a fishery was established near the site of today's Rogers Street Fishing Village. Exhibits trace the evolution of the pioneer fishing industry from its rustic past to the modern trawler fleets in use today. Climb aboard an actual 40-foot wooden fishing tug and look out over the harbor from the top of the 1886 Two Rivers Harbor Lighthouse. Learn about the many shipwrecks off the coast of Two Rivers. It's FREE! The Point Beach Energy Center is located on Lake Michigan just north of Two Rivers and adjacent to the Point Beach nuclear plant. Thousands of people visit the center every year on family outings or classroom trips. Explore the world of energy featuring a Jacob's Ladder, Discovers' Hall and many interactive displays and models. Two Rivers Parks System |
The 50-acre Neshotah Park is the gem of our
extensive park system. This beautiful Lake Michigan park
has several hundred yards of sand
beach, volleyball and basketball courts, picnic areas,
playgrounds, bike and walking trails, horseshoe pits,
and a softball field. There is also a jet ski/kayak launch area in the
parking lot closest to 22nd Street. Swimming is allowed
at your own risk--lifeguards are not provided.
Concessions are available at the Beach House during the
summer months.

Two Rivers Polar Bears Baseball Club |
The Two Rivers Polar Bears is a
semi-professional baseball organization. The team is a
member of the Wisconsin Amateur Baseball Organization
and the Shoreland League. The Polar Bears play
their home games at Walsh Field. |

The 2,900 acre Point Beach State Forest
offers 6 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline, with dunes, a
lighthouse, camping, and hiking, biking, skiing, nature,
and snowmobile trails. The forest is open year round.
Day use areas are open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
Vehicle admission stickers are required. Hourly, daily,
and annual stickers are available at the entrance
station. Lying just north of Two Rivers, the forest offers all of the natural beauty and assets of the wilderness with the convenience of urban facilities. The sandy shore of Lake Michigan is a major attraction for forest visitors. It is fascinating to walk, look and indulge in some aimless beachcombing. |

Two Creeks Buried Forest Highway 42 and County Highway BB. Take Highway 42 north out of Two Rivers. After passing through Two Creeks, go two miles and look for the parking lot on the east side of the road just south of Gibb's Restaurant. Walk southeast into the natural area. |
Exposed layers of 11,850 year old buried logs, branches, and stumps of spruce, pine and hemlock trees, cones, mosses and snails. Visible evidence of the glacial advances and retreats in this area. A popular study site for geologists, botanists and others. Removal of any material is strictly prohibited. A unit of the Ice Age National Scientific Reserve. Owned by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources & a State Natural Area. | ||

Woodland Dunes is an oasis of marshland,
swamps, sandy fields and meadows and wooded ridges
between Manitowoc and Two Rivers. There are seven trails
winding 10-12 miles through the nature center. Located
between two busy cities, this floodplain, wetland and
dune-ridge area forms a green island of shrubs, grassy
glades, and trees that provide a haven for
wildlife...and for people. Admission
free. Open Mon-Fri 9am- 4pm; Sat 9am- noon; trails open
24 hours daily. |

Disc Golf Course Picnic Hill Park |
The new nine basket layout at Picnic Hill Park offers a very challenging wooded course for all skill levels. The relatively short fairways use the trees and terrain to guide you though plenty of interesting shots. Keep an eye out for more fairways in Two Rivers. Located along the Rawley Point bike trail, next to Walsh Field and across the street from Neshotah Park - just a couple of long tosses to Lake Michigan. | |
