New $54 million Aurora Medical Center
 The 4-story hospital represents the next generation of health care. A nurturing and healing place, it offers patient choice and comfort, and enhanced family involvement in a technologically advanced environment with better communication, more access to information and greater efficiency. All 73 patient rooms are private and spacious with individual showers and warm, home-like furnishings that promote patient rest and healing. Each room is decorated with landscape artwork and located within 40 feet of a nursing station. Huge windows give panoramic views of either Lake Michigan or the Woodland Dunes Nature Center.

New $18 million Aurora Medical Office

Two Rivers and the Lakeshore area are becoming popular areas for new healthcare facilities.

The new Aurora Medical Center and Vince Lombardi Cancer Center in Two Rivers was built in 2002. Aurora is building a new $18 million medical office complex in 2005 to compliment it's Aurora Two Rivers Clinic. Aurora provides care at more than 250 locations in 75 communities, from the Illinois border in the south to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula in the north. The company is the second largest employer in the city of Two Rivers with about 550 employees.

Holy Family Memorial has 15 locations throughout Two Rivers and Manitowoc offering a variety of physician clinics in Manitowoc County, pharmacy locations in Manitowoc and Two Rivers, a medical center, and home medical services.

Several other private health care providers have offices and services in the Lakeshore area, including the new Two Rivers LIFE Center. Site Meter


The recently expanded Holy Family Memorial Hospital in Manitowoc includes the Cancer Care Center and Heart Center.

The new Harbor Town Campus will host primary care physician clinics, a medically-based fitness center, occupational health program, Orthopedic Center of Excellence and a walk-in clinic.
