Go ahead and take a walk.
Anytime, any neighborhood, any street, any park. Crime is low in Two Rivers. In fact - serious crime is very rare. Just take a look at the monthly Police Department report to see for yourself.

2004 is a good recent example. Crime statistics released on May 16, 2005 by the State’s Office of Justice Assistance show that so-called Index Offenses, used for tracking crime rates in Wisconsin communities and statewide, dropped by about 6.5 percent in Two Rivers in 2004. This compares with a 5.8 percent drop state-wide. Manitowoc’s 2004 rate was up by 12.8 percent.

We're proud of our professional police force. It's the people of Two Rivers, however, who are responsible for our safe and friendly city.
