Marquette Manor is a senior housing rehabilitation of
St. Luke’s School and Convent in downtown Two Rivers - across the street
from City Hall. The project was proposed and completed by Metro Plains of
St. Paul, MN.
The vacant, 30,000 square foot St. Luke’s
School parochial school was converted to 32 low to moderate income senior
housing units, consisting of 27 one‑bedroom units and 5 two‑bedroom units,
in which tenants qualify for occupancy by earning 50% to 60% of the County
Median Income. The third floor auditorium is now a community room for the
complex.
The total cost of the project was about $3.2
million. The city had extensive involvement in this project:
