LOIS is an on-line searchable economic development database that provides detailed information on buildings, sites and locations for businesses looking to expand.

Over 6,000 communities and over 10,000 available properties throughout a 12-state area are represented in LOIS.

More than 30 buildings and sites in Two Rivers have been added to the database, which contains about 1,200 data fields.
 

The LOIS database platform was purchased by Forward Wisconsin and is available to all Wisconsin communities at no charge. Funding has been provided by the Department of Commerce, Wisconsin Public Service, Alliant Energy, Madison Gas & Electric, Xcel Energy, We Energies and WISPARK LLC.

Training for local officials was conducted by the Wisconsin Economic Development Association, UW-Extension and the Wisconsin Technical College System.
