Conceptual Plans Developed by Milwaukee School of Engineering Students

Eggers Industries and the City of Two Rivers are cooperating in the redevelopment of the former Eggers Industries property now that the Eggers headquarters and manufacturing facility is completed. The 3.5 acre site has great potential for riverfront development with 700 feet of river frontage.

The land is along the East Twin River in downtown Two Rivers just two blocks east of Washington Street/STH 42. The old manufacturing plant has been torn down and the site has been returned to green field condition.

The possibilities are endless, including commercial, residential, and industrial uses, along with other amenities such as expanded riverfront walk ways. The redevelopment efforts could be assisted through the establishment of another Tax Incremental Financing District.
